In trolling the internet this morning I stumbled upon a Passap Duomatic 80 manual pdf someone uploaded to Scribd.com

It was my first time there so I had to “join” before the download would begin. Not knowing much about the site, I used a disposable email address. If spam results, I’ll delete the address. Also, since I use an iMac, I don’t worry about viruses. The site appears to be above board. If you have used it before, I’d love for you to drop a note in the comments with your experiences.

There are two manuals that come with your Passap E 6000 so be sure you have both of them when you get ready to start to use your knitting machine. Once joined, the download proceeded automatically without a hitch. I looks like it is the complete manual.

There are two manuals that come with your Passap E 6000 so be sure you have both of them when you get ready to start to use your knitting machine. Each manual covers different steps and you need both of them to be successful with the use of the machine.

When you get your Passap manuals, there are 2 of them, make a decision that you are not going to complain about how they are written. There is no one who can respond to you since the company is no longer in business so we have to learn to use what we are given.

It is a matter of learning the steps that are needed and then knowing the right order to put the information into the Passap console which is a very sophisticated computer.

Like everything we are learning to do, it will take understanding the exact steps, then understanding the order that the data needs to be entered. The Passap console, as most computers are, is very unforgiving if you do not give it what it can use.

Because the Passap knitting machine has a language of it’s own, it will be important to learn the order so the computer can use the data you entered. If it does not like the information or the order it will talk back at you with a loud beeping sound that will let you know you missed a step.

Instead of being upset with the computer or console, just wiggle your toes and shoulders, take a few deep breaths and enter the data again. Perseverance is the key here.

And there is nothing like the thrill of getting everything entered correctly and the console saying it is ready for you to begin. That is an awesome accomplishment.

Be very clear with yourself that the order is what your Passap console needs to be accurate. It does not have anything to do with you or how smart you are or what you think you know. It is all about inputting the data in the order the console can use it.

Much like learning to spell a word or follow a recipe. There are steps to follow. You would not get too far if you only learned the c in the alphabet.

Many people seem to just be learning a small amount of the Passap steps and I often hear them fussing about the manuals, the console and why it is the way it is. All this is wasted energy.
